"River of Gems" Australiana necklace

Celebrate the beauty of Australian flora with this elaborate yet unique necklace.  It was inspired by gold and gem fossicking trips into the Australian bush, my one-of-a kind necklace seeks to capture the imagery of flowing rivers carrying gum leaves, seed pods, gemstones, gold and silver.  

This sterling silver piece features:  silver and 9ct gold mined in Australia, Australian rough sapphires and zircons, and red garnets.

A gum leaf that I found on a bushwalk north of Lithgow NSW was the model for these sterling silver leaves.
