Returns

Returns to our store are at cost to the customer.

Delivery damages

WB Jewellery will photograph products prior to posting to customers. Note: all items are well packaged and padded with as much diligence as possible to ensure, within reason, that no damage occurs in transit.

Jewellery items damaged in transit will be replaced with another of the same product, following receipt of photographic evidence of damage.  The product will also need to be returned for recycling of the metals.

Should a customer receive a jewellery product that has been damaged in transit, the customer is required to photograph the package/content damage upon receipt and send this evidence to me within 10 days of receipt.  This will enable WB Jewellery to make an insurance claim.

This is only relevant to actual damage to the jewellery item, not damage to any box the item is inside.  An exception to this is when the value of a jewellery item is over $500 and an expensive box is provided with the product.

Refunds

Acceptable Returns will be issued with a store credit for use on current or future store purchases; or the item will be replaced.   Requests for refunds need to be made within 14 days of receipt of a product.

Earrings:  Earrings that have been worn will not be accepted as a Return.  This is for hygiene issues - it very difficult to sterilise earring studs and hooks - and WB Jewellery would be unable to resell such a product.

Commission or Made-to-order Jewellery, Becks Group Rings and Livadi Rings

Please consider your order carefully.  Commission pieces are made to your specifications, it will be difficult to on-sell any product you have commissioned, or components that have been purchased to make the item/s.   For this reason, a commission order that is cancelled once production has commenced will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the amount already paid for the item/s.

Becks Group and Livadi My Dream rings - these orders are paid by the customer in advance.  Once an order is placed with the manufacturer, costs are incurred by WB Jewellery with this company as well as consultation time expended.  For this reason, a cancellation fee will apply and purchased materials will be retained by WB Jewellery.  This will be discussed during consultation prior to processing of wedding rings.
